I like a hotel comparison that begins with how people will actually use the space. Where does the tired person rest while everybody else gets ready? Can parents hear a child next door? Does anyone need more privacy? A report about adjoining accommodation suggests a possible answer, but it does not guarantee that arrangement will be available for your dates. I would want the connection included clearly in the offer or confirmed by the property.

The pool and helpful staff give the hotel a practical resort feel in the guest accounts. That can be enough for a trip with busy days outside.
